A1626001189878 , via OnePlus 9R , Jan 27, 2022 : I bought the 9R with a positive hope that I will receive security patches on time . How ever I m absolutely disappointed with the company. They didn't provide any security patch after November .I see that even a cheap budget phone from other makers atleast getting security patches on time. I have decided that I will never make a mistake to buy one plus phones in the future

raj_aman , via OnePlus 9R , Jan 27, 2022 : For your information 11.2.5.5 was released on 2021-09-23 after calculating 2 months from that date it was on 23rd November but they released in December. So how can i expect it is bi-monthly.
Liehjan , Jan 27, 2022 : Roughly once every two months... Sometimes is less and sometimes it's more. They missed the target by one week with the latest update.

Liehjan , Jan 27, 2022 : They are yes, and that's because OOS12 versions have had major bugs that can't wait for a bi-monthly patch. But once that is sorted out it will go back to same bi-monthly schedule like all other devices.

ASTROS , Jan 27, 2022 : Lol dude, a piece of advice from a fellow 9r user, just think of this phone as waste of 40k coz this phone won't be receiving any attention from oneplus and also try to avoid oneplus in the future. But as of now, we r screwed until we switch to a new phone (non-oneplus). And also If u want any reply from oneplus then their standard reply is that they don't provide any eta for the updates but they conveniently delay the bi-monthly update timeline. And also their updates for 9r are only some security patches and bugs fixes (big joke). Finally u might think that this phone is 9R hence a 9 series phone but it is actually an 8T minus coz it has same update timeline of 8 series.
