[Answered] OnePLus QLED TV 55Q1, blank screen

    recently bought a OnePlus QLED TV 55Q1. The screen suddenly has gone blank and we get blank screen in various colours.
    Have reported the issue and the visit time given is 5-6 days. Just Imagine a new TV and we have no option but to wait.
    Any similar experience, please share.

    I am assuming you are experiencing something like this

    It's called ScreenTest mode and majority of users who faced it could rectify it only after the technician's visit.
    Temporary solution that worked was taking off the power cord for some time and connecting it back. Try that and see if you can use it till someone visits.

    It worked. I switched it off in the night and switched it on in the noon. Got the picture back. Thank you for the tip.
    BUT IS IT NOT UNUSUAL FOR A TWO MONTH OLD TV.

    Most welcome...And yes, it's not usual. Let the technician visit and show him the pictures/videos you captured. If it happens again, you should demand for repair/replacement.

    Yes again it happened. Now consecutive 3rd day. You remove the power over night and it works in the day. Saves power. Great. The technician came and it started then, he said he will visit again. Will call him tomorrow

    Have been given a complaint number on 11th Jan 2021. Technician visited on 12th. Another called up on 17th. Some board to come from Bangalore. Waiting for it. QLED 55" TV, wondering if we made a good choice.

    I have the same issue as yours my tv model 55Q1 is showing the same RGB colours since 12 th January we have repeatedly complained to OnePlus .
    The technician who visited on 15 jan says its a hardware problem we bought the tv on 20 October 2020
    This a manufacturing defect and we have been cheated by oneplus

    My tv has same problem suffering from 12th jan no response from ONEPLUS have emailed,twiitered,call center, support app all done complaint still pending

    We are cheated Oneplus sold us a manufacturing defect tvs

    Check the conversations above. For temporary resolution keep the TV off even by removing the power cord and use the later day.
    But for permanent resolution raise a complaint on OnePlus Care app.

    Today also they tell me that the complaint is registered and it will take some more time as the part is not available. dont know if I should take it up on social media and to consumer forum. Disgusting.

    Bought this 55 inch OnePlus QLED TV on 22.10.20. Sparingly used as we had two weddings in the family and had to travel. The screen goes blank and you only get coloured plain screen. The remote does not work, so you unplug, leave it over night and if you are lucky it works the next day morning till you switch it off again, same ritual when you restart.

    PLEASE TAKE IT BACK AND REFUND THE FULL AMOUNT..

    I also faced similar problem. Never faced such issues with Sony or Samsung TVs. Technician said to replace mother board at cost of about Rs12000. It’s definitely a manufacturing and design defect which company does not want to acknowledge. My choice of buying One Plus TV was wrong. Never buy their TVs.
