    Hello Frns,

This might be dumb question but, is there any difference the oxygen os installed on OnePlus One and the recent 2.

Oneplus one doesnt come preinstalled with oxygen os like the 2, so just wondering if there will be any features that will be different.

    Thanks for your time.

    Version 2.0 (Oneplus 2) has:

    * More customization, such as Led notification, invert colors.
    * Own camera app (no Google stock camera)
    * Shelf (new option to acces some apps and contacts)

    And runs Android 5.1.1.

But the question remains: Is there a REAL or SIGNIFICANT difference for users (everyday use) between 5.0.2 and 5.1.1.?

I have been a non-active member... I just read reviews and post questions most of the time... Not so active anymore. Hate the OP2 anyways... I am keeping my OP1... :)

Oxygen OS has some of the future-released Android M features, which were first seen in CM12 (cyanogenMOD), such as app permission settings/toggle, default option for dark theme and such. Not a real precursor or pioneer, but they are up to date with the latest stuff. The interesting thing is watching if they will keep up with latest updates/fixes

Edit: it seems that Goggle is taking advantage of a lot of the features seen in custom ROMs. This has been noticed to be happening more inthe last 2 years or so. A great kudos to XDA devs and such. Dont be surprised if you see PIE controls coming out soon
