Hey there, i've mostly used sultanxda's 6.0.1 for my OPO because it was said to have the best battery performance of all the custom ROMs, used it for really long time and have no complains.

Now i heard the android 7 is so much better and worth upgrading from 6.

Have any of you tried the 7 custom ROMs yet ? I don't really want the official OPO's ROM ( if they ever even release it ) unless it is superior in every way to all the custom ROMs, but i've seen there are alot of them and i don't know which one to choose.
I mostly need battery performance and some customization so it doesn't look stocky.

Edit : Also if you post a ROM tell if it supports xposed framework, because if it doesn't there's no way im upgrading untill it does

There won't be any official COS or CM update for the OPO anymore. The most people are using LineageOS or Resurrection Remix based on Android 7.1.2 now. Just browse through the OnePlus One (Development) section, there are so many threads about it. You can ask in the specific threads about their experiences.

I'm very satisfied with LOS, but of course there are some little bugs/missing features.
Just make a backup with TWRP of your current ROM and try every ROM you like, that's very easy :)

LOS here as well, use it as my daily driver with no issues. There are no longer themes like on COS/CM 13, but that's not really a problem. Its fast, snappy and pretty good with battery life.

Hi there! I'm on LOS(LineageOS) 14.1-20170508. I highly recommended. I use it daily, it's highly stable and it gets constantly updated.

BTW: If you like taking pics, you should try Bacon Camera.

No theme engine ? oh man that is one feature i might miss, is there a chance it could be implemented later ?

I saw LOS had sultans camera which i assumed is the best one. Though i never use the camera anyway so it doesn't matter

If camera is not your priority then you should try Resurrection Remix..it has best customization and performance. Even though you can use Bacon camera for good photos.
And also it has OMS support so you can use Substratum overlays for theming..but I won't recommend to use it.

Resurrection Remix it's a very awesome Custom ROM. I believe it's the most customable ROM. I used it a while a go when LOS wasn't officially released. It was very unstable and after 1 week per say, it fell into a bootloop. It was the experience a had. Maybe today things has changed.

Tried LineageOS, TugaPower and Resurrection Remix. Now at Resurrection Remix. Not sure if Xposed for Nougat has been developed properly.

Resurrection Remix is awesome right now, but if you want xposed framework you're out of luck, there's no xposed for nougat right now
