Anyone worried about this being a Chinese company?

One of the first reviews of this phone I read said that this is a fantastic phone as long as you are comfortable with this being a full Chinese company. Is anyone concerned about this? Should we be?

I assume the guy was referring to security/spy stuff imbedded or those types of concerns, not about build quality. Hauwei I guess?

I would be very surprised if build quality was an issue.

Seeing as an iPhone hardware wise is about as Chinese as this, I'm not worried

My LG is made in Korea, my aunt's IPhone was made in China, yet. They both work perfectly.
    So no, not at all.

Everything these days is made in China..."Designed in USA, Made in China". Lol there's no getting away from it. Its a legitimate company, and they have to start somewhere! I fully trust them.

I'm very happy with the country of origin. I have confidence that build quality will be excellent. I also believe support will be very good. I'm buying with confidence :)

Not really. I mean its going to be the norm that China is the biggest exporter. They are predicted to overtake the U.S. as the biggest economy soon. In terms of quality this phone seems to be on par with the U.S. made stuff.
