Since I am a happy owner of the OP6 I am getting promotion emails of the OP6T, OP7 and so on. There is nothing wrong with my OP6 OnePlus, you told me yourself. The best smartphone money can buy. Do you like those emails? I know they can be switched off but that's not the point.

This is a community forum, there are no OnePlus here.

If you're getting emails you don't want, then unsubscribe from them.

Everyone gets them, which is why you should pay attention when you register to any site.

Yes, that's actually what every company does. But it isn't right.

Then don't register to any site that will send out emails and don't give out your email to any retail store as they all send out promotional stuff.

OnePlus gives you an unsubscribe link in their emails, you should probably click it instead of complaining about it.

This is the community forum for the OP6/OP6T

And I nicely registered my email when I bought this phone in case it gets lost or for easy updates as OnePlus recommend.

Companies always seek for more money by selling

Customers should have the ability to say "no I don't actually need that, my device still has warranty and support ffs".

I guess there's some moral dilemma, they (the company, OP), already sold a device to him, and it was as he said, the best, it came with a promise (you know 2 y updates, support and whatnot) , there might even be a ethical dilemma, since they abuse, the trust, and data protection of the individual, since obviously they built a list to push promotional material to (a list that's often sold and bought by diferent others), I got to do some research but that might even be illegal in the E.U (hence, why I don't have this problem)
