Hello, I need an official technical answer from Oneplus. Maybe, you can fix such a bug in the next update. AOD was working fine in 11.0.5.6 but now in 11.0.6.8 the next thing is broken. Previously aod was dimming when set to always and the phone is in a dark place but for now the brightness of AOD set to always is constant and do not change! Please, fix that behaviour to make it work like in 11.0.5.6. AOD should dim and should be dark in a dark room) It is only when it's set to always or scheduled. If it is activated only on touch or lift up ambient dispaly dims like it should.
Wait for your answer and feedback.
It happens for AA, BA and DA

Did you clear cache via recovery and turn AOD off and on?

In the ambient display section I have three options how I want to see my aod. But there's no brightness setting. It's not very bright. I called tech and that's what they Said. This is to avoid screen burn!!! 👊🏻

I mean that mine is too bright. Yes, i have Off, Schedule and Always. When i enable Schedule or Always than on 11.0.6.8 after turning screen off AOD is enabled. And its brightness stay at the same pretty bright level. Previously on 11.0.5.6 AOD was staying bright only for some seconds and after that it dimmed, get darker.
Maybe, you can call them and tell about this bug...(

I want to avoid screen burn, i want more battery life because of it AOD should work like it did and became darker)

Have you tried it in a dark environment?

AOD setup page says it dims in dark environment to save battery.

    Have you unplugged the phone?
There is a setting to keep AOD always visible while charging or in the dock so people use it as watch / weatherstation / calendar on the nightstand.

Yeah, tried in dark. Now I installed 11.0.5.6 and it dims in dark like it should. Seems that it is firmware 11.0.6.8 related problem. Hope so much that they will fix in the next update [e]1f64f[/e]
