    Hi folks,

I have written an Android app that notifies you when a new Cyanogen OS update is available for your OnePlus One (and some other Cyanogen OS phones too!).

It retrieves OTA update information directly from Cyanogen. Credits to user @weresloth for finding the OTA update data links at the Cyanogen website.

The latest version notifies you when a new update is available and when a new device is added to the app. Additionally, it allows you to download an update, view a tutorial how to install an update, and view basic information about your device (cpu chipset and frequency, amount of RAM memory, Android system version and software serial number).

    More information and download: cyanogenupdatetracker.com

Please report any bugs to me, they will be fixed soon!

Note: The OnePlus 2 does not have Cyanogen OS out of the box and is therefore not compatible with this app. Devices that do not have Cyanogen OS out of the box are not supported and never will be. CyanogenMod is not the same as Cyanogen OS.

Thank you all for downloading and trying out my app. I have received 2 bug reports so far, these bugs will be fixed in the next days.
I have also started working on push notifications, this feature will take approx. one month to be released. Stay tuned for future updates!

Here it is: Version 1.1.0 has been released and now features the beloved Push Notifications. You'll never miss an update as your phone automatically notifies you within 5 minutes of a system update release! Also the graphics are much better than before and the settings screens have been reorganized.

Has anybody received a notification tonight? It seems that Cyanogen f***d up the full update by leaving the update name (and the description, but that doesn't matter) blank. The incremental update appears to be fine. I will be forcing a notification very soon! And recommending to change to the incremental update

Last night a small update (1.2.2) has been released.
This update makes the app ready for the upcoming COS 12.1 update!

The app now uses a much, much better server which should provide a far-better setup experience and less application crashes as the older server setup wasn't reliable for 1000+ active users.

The old (Raspberry Pi powered) server will remain online for around 2.5 months to support users on older versions. After that period only the new VPS based server will remain online.

    Happy updating to COS 12.1!

Sorry to bother you like this, i understand if u dont feel like replying, i know you must be swamped with queries.. but still, i try my luck.. I did what the app told me.. after incremental update the app still shows me that there is a 303mb update available.. so i downloaded that again and installed using stock recovery procedure mentioned here: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/oneplus-on...-12-1-ota-update-how-install-manually-1517108 it still shows that there is an update available.. plus my menu looks a bit funny.. here is a few post update screenshots: (is this normal?) PS: I am unrooted and used stock recovery method to install the incremental updates..

Yes, that is normal. The current version of the app always shows the latest update available, regardless of what you have installed.
It might be a good idea to check if the system is up to date.
The issue is that it is really hard as the attribute "CyanogenMod version" does not belong to Android, and thus it is not easy to reliably obtain on all devices.
