Yes, so that you can see the screen better when taking photos in sunny conditions outdoors. If you don't want that behavior, turn off "use maximum brightness" in the camera settings (gear icon on the upper left, last item in the list).

I've done that before and it still didn't change anything. I run maximum brightness anyway, so I'm sure if I turned it down it'd make a difference. But it still doesn't turn off sunlight enhancement, even if it's off in the system settings.

Is it something related to Kernel or some other settings?

Which version has all the menu buttons on the top of the screen as a little bar as opposed to all in a menu button? I used to have it like that but I had to reflash and I can't find it again

Is the HD plugin still not working with oxygen os? I've installed the camera, the plugin, cleared the data but the pictures I take are still in 13mp?

I'm using infinityplus' port of andriman's modded ColorOS camera under OxygenOS and had a couple of questions about settings.

First, there appear to be two exposure compensation settings at the upper right, one a half-light, half-dark circle and the other some vertical lines. Anyone know what these do (and which is which)?

Under settings, there's a "blind shot with flash" mode. What does that do?

There's also "Low Power Mode." What changes with that on and off?

Finally, there are a couple of features that appear not to work. Although I have the "HD picture" plugin installed, and the settings show "50 MP" when it's selected, I'm still only getting 13 MP photos from it. Any ideas how to get that to work? Also, I seem to be stuck in "auto white balance" mode -- the "AWB" button at the top of the screen is grayed-out. Any ideas?
