people don't like the success of iPhones because it isn't a value for money product. it is expensive and the Android alternatives can pretty much do everything the iPhone does, but at a much lower price point.

I used to have a similar view not too long back. but when I bought the iPhone, I was pleasantly surprised by it's capabilities and much of the rants against it, especially on Android forums, were hollow and lacked substance. there are very well coded apps on the app store which allow you to do everything you want.

plus the premium build and support. without a doubt, it is the top selling phone, and understandably so.

    Dash Charge is best.
Poor Apple doesn't have that. It still takes 2 hours to charge it lol.

    dash charge is very impressive.

my iPhone 7 plus takes 3 hours to charge from 5 - 100%. that is a fact for you.

another fact is that on an average, with moderate use including Skype and YouTube, I get 12 hours SOT and 2.5 - 3 days standby. that is super impressive.

Well, they are still stuck with LCD at a price of $700+.
    OP gives AMOLED at $400.
    OP is best here too.

don't know why. can only guess that it could be a more efficient combination for the rest of the hardware, including battery.

but it seems they will shift to AMOLED screens, once they have taken care of any probable efficiency issues.

    OP/Android has so many customizations.
Poor Apple has none. Sad. Isn't it?

I have both. so don't have to be sad.

security, stability, performance and support will always be on top of my priority list over customization.

Can Apple do that? I doubt.

OP is a fast as Apple. Even faster in some cases.
But OP costs me $400 for 64GB and Apple costs me $700+ for 32GB.

    What say which is better?

pricing is what is keeping OP in business.

it is a great phone. but again a question of personal choice and affordability.

on one occasion, my iPad stopped charging. it turned out to be a faulty cable. this is a good 6 months later. took it to the store and they replaced it for free. no questions. this is called support.

    that's just one example.

    can OP do it?

First, you did not answer my question.
Second, only OP can tell you about after sale service. I don't work for OP.
Third, AFAIK, As long as phones is in warranty, they are obligated to.

oh I did. I said it is a matter of personal choice and affordability.

you want customization, go for Android
if security, stability, performance and support is what you value most, iPhone is the best bet. even though the Samsung flagships are not too far behind.

again, it is a personal choice.

with regards to OP support, we can only wish. but too many people are complaining in this forum itself.

but if you insist what is value for money, then of course it OnePlus. again, Mi6 is even better and cheaper. except for root support and MiUI which many people don't like.

If anything iPhone is good at for now is camera and after sale service.

    Build quality: OP is better
    Display: OP has superior AMOLED
Ram: OP has 3 times more
Rom: OP has 2 times more
    Performance: As good as iPhone
    Customizability: OP is better
    Headphone Jack: OP has it
Price: OP is way too less (half for 64gb)
Security: Both can be breached by FBI and hackers. Don't be under impression that iPhone can't be.

Best of all, OP has a community for it's fans and users. My sympathies for poor iPhone users. They have to go to other's forum to scream and argue unnecessarily.

If you still think iPhone is worth $700+ then so be it.
No point of any further discussions.

don't mind if that makes you happy.

do remember that spec sheet doesn't give you full picture.

what actually counts is performance and iPhone is the King there.

also durability. my iPad is 7 years old now. super premium build and still works superfast with zero lag. no stability issues. great battery, lasts for days with moderate use.

would like to see if OnePlus products can live that long. and also perform.

Apple fans need OP3/3T for satisfying their need for customisation.
    Not true Vice versa
