I recently purchased a gimbal and have been learning the video skills needed for creating video content. However, I have found 1 problem for OP devs to tackle prior to the event in NY.
It is apparent that the internal gyros of my 7 Pro are slightly out of calibration. The gimbal relies on them to know if it is level. There is no completely flat surface on most phone except for the screen. As such, there is no way to calibrate the gyros.
I would recommend an inexpensive attachment be designed that can cradle OP devices and provide a flat edge for calibration. This should be very simple to make a few test models to try out at the event for feedback.

just got my first OnePlus phone "7pro" and I love it
yes 100% agree i have so many clips on my phone id love a live editing feature
I bought a 7t from T-Mobile, when I take a picture using flash it take too much time to take it, wich is annoying because I switched from a 5t who does it fast.
I use filmic pro for my videos, I only hope that OP will someday soon be able to let content creators unlock our OP devices for use on filmic pro at it's full potential, unfortunately at the moment we are limited from using higher frame rates on filmic pro.
I would go to this in a heartbeat! But sadly I will be on vacation and away, until after that week of December 8.
big ups guys
I think one of the most important aspects is third party app access like Filmic Pro and Moment have for iOS. I'd love to be able to manually control the telephoto and ultrawide lens in those apps. Android needs this as a whole but it would be awesome if OnePlus could pioneer the way for other OEMs.
