Hey guys. I'm having the same problem. I've done the app store part. But how do I uninstall the updates from android system webview?

Go to your settings / apps and notifications / android system webview. In the upper right corner, touch the 3 dots, and uninstall updates is there.

I was having the same issue. I did the above steps, restarted my phone, everything is working.

I tried cleaning the cache, restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing works. I've had the phone for less than a week and I think I have to take it back.

    Hi there,

The bug is caused by a recent update by Google to Android System Webview. It seems like uninstalling it fixes the issue. This 9to5google post gives you all the needed steps to do so:

This has nothing to do with the phone, check @dom_k's comment above:
