Goole Services for AR is a system app, you can't uninstall it without something like Titantium Backup. Can you verify the process. You CAN disable it.

    I am on OP8P

or you mean to go to Google Play and uninstall the update?

I was able to make this work on the OP8P.

Since the Google Play Service for AR is a system app on the OP8P, the process is a bit different.

    1) Go to Play Store and search for "Google Play Service for AR".
    2) You should have the option to uninstall it. Uninstall update
    3) Go to Settings -> Apps and look for the "Google Play Service for AR"
    4) Disable it & Clear Cache and Storage
    5) Reboot
    6) Go to Settings -> Apps and look for the "Google Play Service for AR"
    7) Enable Google Play Service for AR
    8) Go back to Play Store and upgrade "Google Play Service for AR"

    Testing working on Google Measure

NOTE: It only works once and then it stopped working after you close out the app

    Thank You !!!
That worked perfectly. I followed instructions in original post and worked brilliantly. I was able to uninstall completely (not uninstall updates only). Reboot . Reinstall. Reboot again and voila it worked. Closed chrome and tried again still work. Thanks for the tip.

Update: unfortunately stopped working again 😟
