    To help you
    1. Call 03-55446949 or 03-55446917 instead. This is the main line and the SIRIM operator will immediately email the forms to you. That previous number is dead long ago. (Note: Operator is very helpful.)

    2. You could do the filling up of the forms basing on the samples given. Remember I have posted the newer version of the forms. (My old forms very rejected by SIRIM and I had to redo all over again.)

    3. Deposit RM100 at any RHB Bank into the SIRIM bank account and scan the bank deposit slip.

    4. Send all the forms, required documents and of course your bank in slip to the email address as given by SIRIM.

    5. You will get the soft copy of the e-permit (coloured document) within 24 hours. You then email the e-permit to DHL.

    6. Then you monitor the movement, custom clearance, out of the airport and then on the way to you.

    7. I did every thing myself and I did not pay any fees.

If you have preordered, what's next?
Now that you are waiting, perhaps you should consider filling up the SIRIM forms, and send all documents plus the RM100 payment to SIRIM BEFORE
    the arrival of your phone.

    Why?
I submitted the required documents to SIRIM before being contacted. After that, SIRIM vetted my forms and approved my application with the e-permit (which is valid for three months from the date of issuance). Once the forwarder contacted me, I emailed the e-permit to the forwarder and waited for customs clearance. No problem, customs cleared.

You have your choices, get the permit first, or wait for the forwarder to contact you and then submit your forms to SIRIM, or as most members hope that the package will somehow pass through Customs without being stopped. You decide.

The application was done in the month of October 2014.

    Hope this helps.

As Kampuamee advised. Sometimes the 'magical hand' works in wonder instead of digging deep down for more problems. Then, why don't you call back the officer??????

The DHL service at my place didn't even ask for handling fee or any further payment. They just call me, ask for my email to send the Sirim Application forms (which I had already done the day before). I do the sirim application all thru emailing the sirim officer and got the certificate after 2 hours of my payment bank-in. It was a Friday, so I requested that DHL arrange the release of the parcel and I got it at by 6pm the same day
