Does getting OxigenOS (sometime in the future) entail us not getting CM12s by the 3rd of Feb?

Many users relied on Oneplus commitment, on upgrading opo to MC12s, when ordered their phones... Should this not be happening anymore would expose Oneplus to a massive lawsuit. Personally I'd like to see this company thrive but too many cracks, at managerial level, have started to show...Finger crossed for One plus!!

... Do you know what cm is? cause OnePlus can't promise that Cyanogenmod(cm) completes it by then. Cm said within 3 months, Steve Kondik(cm C/O) Said probably early February. Saying 3rd as a fixed date doesn't make sence whan talking about software. It's coming, don't worry.

    Btw this is a super-duplicate.

CM came as part of the phone when we bought it with the assurance that it will stick to it for at least two year. By way of example it would be like ordering and paying for a BMW cabriolet and then getting a BMW coupe. You might still be happy with that but is not what you have paid for.

I just saw that HTC, which had also promised to have Lollipop within 90 days, just announced that their carrier-specific phones will not receive it on time. (They calculated 90 days as ending February 1, BTW.) That's an admirable display of corporate transparency, a trait OnePlus boasts about, so it would be nice to have an announcement from OnePlus if (as it appears) Cyanogen is not going to make the deadline. (Unless the relationship between OnePlus and Cyanogen is now so bad that they don't communicate with each other about "minor" things like release dates, in which case OnePlus may be as clueless about the status of Lollipop as we are...)

Not that I'm overly eager for a new release. Apparently the HTC delay was due to bugs in the Lollipop software released to them by Google; I'd rather have a delayed but less-buggy version than one that is on-time but has frequent glitches.

I didn't say anything about that. Cm12s is coming, as I said. But if cyanogenmod decides to cut ties with oneplus as they considered a month back you can't really put that on oneplus, however cheated you feel. Stop worrying, they have confirmed that it's coming, but if it's ready in three days.. I can't way that I'm expecting that. I read that HTC had to delay some lollipop updates for the m8 too.

Be careful what you wish for, Lollipop (OTA) has pretty much destroyed my Nexus 7 and Nexus 4. Thanks Google...
