Ordered 8/128 along with 4x car chargers. Upgrading from OP3, Dual lenses will definitely make a difference.
Too bad the accessories aren't available yet. Seriously, the silicone cases at least, so I can DIY my own Loopy case would have been nice.

I would consider to buy OP5 If it is very very better of my 3t. Is it?

In the UK you can now get an SG8 on contract for less than an OP5 from O2 on contract, which doesn't seem right to me. It appears OP have moved from being a smartphone killer to trying to be a mainstream player, at least in the UK, without the customer support etc of Samsung & Apple, plus at present phones with little secondhand value compared to the big players.

Problem now for OP is they are competing directly against Samsung, HTC & LG, when they had the market just below those brands really to themselves with the OP3/3T.

After my initial disappointment, I decided to order 6/64. why to leave the wonderful OP3:

    - I am an big Idiot. period

    - The overall package is mine. don't care about higher resolution screens or which IP x/y ever
    - Design isn't important to me
    - OP3 was my first OnePlus and in my case they delivered. they dealt with many issues better then the big brands(remember screen calibration and anandtech review?)
    - software updates... nearly every two weeks a new beta. even after the 3T dropped.
    - was able to grab the welcome bundle for 50% off

    - last: I am an idiot.

for normal usage will not make much of difference, will definately be smooth as compared to 3t.

camera we will have to wait for reviews, as per verge review it holds mediocre camera.

their entire tag line is related to camera clarity and if they fail there then what's the need for upgrade.

Isn't that every new device needs its own customary recovery image? I expect OP5 needs a new image from some party like TWRP?

Ordered and then cancelled after reading reviews revealing that the dual camera system isn't impressive. Maybe I set a higher expectation after I heard OP teamed with DxO. Currently I'm using an OP3 and the only thing that OP3 really bothers me with is that I bought it in China and it doesn't support LTE bands of ATT ...

That's true but because OP phones are so easily rooted they are well supported by community. And I don't think that's going to change with OP5.

I am not disagreeing. I was just saying that I will wait until those packages are ready for OP5 so I can unlock and root on the first day I receive the phone so that I don't have to reinstall all apps later.
