not really, to be brutally honest...imho, the oxygen OS is full of bugs and a step back from CM..I am thinking about going back to OPO for the time being..

It's not a significant upgrade but it is a great phone. I would recommend it.
Batterylife is the only thing I don't really like about this phone. Maybe with greenify it gets better. I will try it soon.

I was using the One before and I don't think you need to upgrade. The One is still a great phone with great specs. But the Two's new features are nice. Camera is much better in low light and is capable of taking great pictures. I don't notice much of a speed bumb but it is noticeble while scrolling through apps and the UI.

As a few have said, Hardware wise, over the Oneplus One it is great! The build of the Two is high quality, solid and beautiful.

Oxygen OS needs some refinement, which Oneplus are aware of, but this will be rolled out over time and therefore constantly improving!

Software is not like hardware that you can't change once its built.

Overall i am impressed by the Two!!

I bought it, tried it... Am still using my OPO as daily driver.

Waiting to see how the updates to Oxygen improve the 2, but in general, very disappointed.

    OPO - 9.5/10
    OP2 - 5.5/10

Is there any way to root out Oxygen in OP2 and load Plain android? Is someone tried?

Ofcourse there is. You should have a look at xda's modding community for op2 and find out about CM there. It should contain all info u want about "rooting out oxygen and putting cm".

But I personally feel that stable builds should be preferred over nightlies. Or you might face problems while using it on a daily basis.

    Yes, I'm happy,
I just don't encounter any issues appeared around the internet.
Including the famous home botton issue, fingerprint scanner issue, and heating issues.
My device work perfectly fine...just a bit negative on the OS bugs, but I'm sure they'll fix them and make oxygenos better.
So I'll say so far my experience on my OP2 is happy and satisfied.

I like the solid feel of the Op2 in my hand, the extra weight over the OPO is kind of comforting (?). The phone performs well, and, like my One, I seem to have the only handset in the galaxy that has no issues!!! :) I'd still happily use my One if the Two developed problems, but for now it's Two in the hand. I'm glad I bought it, but the cost wasn't a major issue for me.
Edit; since 2.1 OTA, I have had lag issues. Obviously this is an isolated case, as I've not heard of any one else with lag :)?)
TL:DR. Still a good phone unless you have no patience

OxygenOS is a bit pants, but the main disappointment for me is not being able to get OTG working so far.

For me it is a big downgrade from my OPO. I find cyanogen 12s MUCH BETTER than oxygen os.
That's why I'm thinking of selling my OP2 and maybe switching to another brand with more tweakable software (maybe OPPO 7r Plus or Galaxy 6 or Huawey mate s)...

Using mine and I much preferred the OPO to be honest. Build quality seems a little higher but overall its nothing worth upgrading for in my opinion. I would switch back if my OPO wasnt stolen on Friday haha
