    I am using Oneplus 6T and no doubt on image quality however I noticed some issue and this is the second time happening. When I opened Camera app it worked fine however i was unable to exit or go back from it. I had to restart the phone.
    Please let me know if there is any fix for it

    Tell you something when you are out with your friends and you need to click a selfie, will you open your camera adjust settings and then click. Well someone else is gonna get his or her phone and click it.
    A small example over here, I just rolled the bottle slowly and tried to capture, well it failed.

    OnePlus 6T is fast but if when it comes to camera it is unable to capture the moment .
    Improvement is required here.

    we want depth effect on selfish (front) camera also. op6t camera has the ability to do it. then we should not be keep far from this option.

    I am experiencing a little blurred photos from front camera,even focusing doesn't give sharp images.You should improve the front camera plus I request to add nightmode to the front camera.

    Seems the upcoming beta for Oneplus 6 still doesn't have new camera drivers to fix the "all images are blurred/sanded" issue: https://www.oneplus.com/fi/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=8

    They must be blind to not see the blur in every image taken with this phone, none of the images are natural or sharp. For some odd reason the videos look ok.

    Well they stopped selling Oneplus 6 here because of these issues and just got myself a Pixel 3 today so... never again Oneplus!

    With regards to "blurry" pictures, what are you guys doing to improve upon that? From my observations and testing it feels as though one of two things are happening; a) the post processing is misidentifying textures and shadows as something else and "smoothening" them out resulting in loss of detail and apparent 'smudge spots' or, b) the camera's focus is being significantly too sensitive and thus slight (even millimeters of,) movement makes it readjust at the same time it captures and image and then has portions that are basically unintentionally motion blurred possibly because of a slower shutter speed (or longer exposure time, your pick for terminology lol) hence why there's seemingly a lack of texture to that area/object resulting in a gaussian blur (Photoshop analogy) sort of effect.

    I do hope this helps or doesn't getting lost in the mass of posts on this thread, if further information or testing and even experimenting would help I'm all for it! I can be as technical as possible, I honestly love this phone since I upgraded from a Nexus 6p and if the camera experience /photographic results can be improved with any information I submit I'm more than happy to continue.

    how do you connect an external microphone and record video using said microphone on the OnePlus 6t?

    it seems as though it will work for audio recording using the recording app but none of the video apps record audio it just seems very quiet using an external mic.

    I have tried adjusting the settings on the apps as well as buying the TRS to trrs adapter as well as trying many different video recording apps.

    is anyone aware of a setting or function to fix this or is this a phone issue?
