DenzilRitesh , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Nov 26, 2020 : I'm facing the same issue, is it a youtube or oneplus issue?
qifka , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Nov 26, 2020 : Definitely a OnePlus issue. Checked on several android phones, they work as intended, but on OnePlus I have this problem too.

Ajin_Grace_Thomas , via OnePlus 8 , Dec 4, 2020 : I have this same problem... before youtube used to automatically go to portrait once I exit from the fullscreen mode . Now it just gets locked in landscape instead of switching to portrait

Ajin_Grace_Thomas , via OnePlus 8 , Dec 4, 2020 : But why would they change an useful feature for this
Saucy78 , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Dec 4, 2020 : I find this quite an interesting function as it gives the user the choice to move between landscape and portrait but quickly . I have had situations when I was watching content lying down and the orientation was not the way I wanted.
akkipatel95 , via OnePlus 8 , Dec 4, 2020 : True. But it's a workaround for now. It appears everytime when your screen rotates. So. It's not a solution. It is a feature for those who don't want to change screen to landscape mode everytime. It's useful when they only want to rotate screen in specific app.
akkipatel95 , via OnePlus 8 , Dec 4, 2020 : It's the problem with OnePlus update. Hope they fix it in next update.
SyedYaseenOP8 , via OnePlus 8 , Dec 4, 2020 : Yes you have to check for it and touch once to get back to your normal or portrait mode or full screen mode. I have been seeming this icon on my dive for some time now.
