    Hi Team,

My One plus 7 pro started acting crazy from evening, whenever I make a call or WhatsApp phone shut downs automatically. Even my mic is not working (even when headphones on) I'm not sure what I need to do..

I tried even clearing cache in recovery mode.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Factory reset should be the last thing you should do. Do this instead:
    1. Boot into safe mood to see if you're able to replicate the issue. That will suggest whether the issue is due to the OS, or due to an app gone rogue in the background.
    2. Reset app preferences (unlikely to help, but sometimes giving a rogue app unnecessary permissions can lead to unexpected shutdowns).
    3. In the Apps and Permissions section in Settings, check if any app is present which doesn't have a name (or has a weird name made up of alphanumeric characters that you don't recognise). Uninstall those.
    4. Reflash the full ROM of the latest OOS version available (won't lead to data loss).
    5. If none of these work, then do a factory reset.
    6. Additionally, submit a bug report here:

I you haven't updated your device and then just check if you have downloaded any malicious file from some untrusted source in last couple of days. If there is such file then just
delete it and restart your device.

I recently installed Bgmi from an unknown source only bro. And I deleted all of them.. Still facing the same issue.

I'm planning to downgrade the android version to 10.

    Any advise?

If this is your main device and the issue is still not resolved then you can downgrade after taking backup. But before you do that check properly for such untrusted files as the might not even appear in anti virus scan. If you dont find such suspicious files then go for downgrade.
