My refresh rate changes automatically after some time from 120hz to 60hz.
I can tell by playing POGO thats it's stuttery, that's when I always have to change it back to 120.

I'm not talking about adaptive refresh rate, but really the setting that resets to 60 over time.

(I have looked in battery saving stuff, but that hasn't got me a solution)

Also no specific situation I recognize when I can tell it dropped.

    Version info:
    Eu LE 2123
Android 12 C38 (but having the reset occur over previous versions aswell)

My C38 device never reverts the seeings to 60 Hz. It may use 60 Hz mode for some apps though. You you refer to actually needing to enter settings and change back to 120 Hz? That does not sound right.
Using battery saving mode or something?

As swejuggalo describes it was indeed that I had to go into the settings panel to change it back to 120hz.
I was happily relieved since the update to C.44 resolved this issue.

About the adaptive refresh rate i'm aware, but this was not intended behaviour by the phone.
Seemed rather like a bug (which I didn't find any other posts about) than any settings I had.

    Glad it's resolved.
