After reading this post your eyes might mutate.
    You might start seeing differently.
The world probably won't look the same way.

Please do not post random unrelated photos.
This isn't a thread for your issues with Android 10.
    Thank you.

    - Once someone told me that a magician never reveals their tricks.
My answer was: I share them so everyone can do magic. -

Hello, my dear reader. You might remember me from other threads, other places, other... Well, you get the idea.

Anyway, allow me to make a short introduction of myself: I started in the photography world almost 10 years ago. I learned everything I could by myself, participating in photography forums, reading articles, watching videos... Until I decided I wanted to take it seriously and I jumped in art school. There I learned how to listen, things I shouldn't do, I smelt for the first time the origin of the photography and what appreciate it the most: I studied history. I, being a history hater since history was a subject in school, turned into a lover of the history of photography. I could keep telling you about this, but let's start.

Reflections. A physic phenomenon that happens thanks to the light, and surfaces with special features. What's the most reflective thing that everyone has around? A mirror. (No, I'm not gonna talk about selfies on the mirror...). But not only that, your phone is a reflection creator, a glass, a window, a quiet river, some tables, even the rain. As you see, reflections are everywhere, being camouflaged around us.

I can hear you thinking... Why are you telling us all this? Now we can start for real. Reflections can add another level to your photos, creating symmetries, adding an uncommon (even uncomfortable) touch, and what I enjoy the most, they can create another world inside our world. They can tell a whole different story, they can add together things that wouldn't be together without them.

You've been waiting for this moment... Let's see some examples.

Some buildings have windows that behave like mirrors, deforming reality. Or... Is that "reality" already deformed?

Shop windows are a mine of treasures. What's inside? What's outside? Can dialogue both sides? Do we have a love story?

    Captura de pantalla 2019-10-29 a las 19.30.43.png

Enough of cristal examples, what about water? A river? A common example, yet many times is forgotten. An asymmetric symmetry? A plant alphabet?

    Captura de pantalla 2019-10-29 a las 19.33.29.png

Water is cool for reflections, right? And rain is also water... (I know, I'm a smart cookie :p)

    And unusual, weird surfaces.

I think these are enough, to get and understand the idea I wanted to share.

Now, it is your turn. Look around, find them, observe them, play with them, move in every direction... And, if you want it for you, shoot. I'd love to see your creations!

P.S. This thread is the first one of others that I'm planning for the future, you can help me decide upcoming topics with the poll (you can vote up to 4), or suggest what you'd like me to discuss. My aim is to talk about photography in general, not necessarily phone photography, tho this could be also a topic if you want.

I remembered another pic, taken this year.

Nice that you've been to Cologne. Somehow, when I saw your pic, I felt reminded to my old pic, haha. Now I know why, BITS

this has nothing to do with reflections, it's just nice,I captured it 5 min ago:)

When OnePlus 3 gets Android 10? Lol somebody's going to ask seriously soon enough, don't worry. Got a few photos for you.

Empire State building reflected in a building across the street.

    Osaka Castle in Japan.

View of across the river from Hiroshima Castle, Japan.

    This one's pretty obvious where.
