    Hi mates,

As I got my one just 10 days ago, I have realised that the sides of the back cover, on which I am holding the phone with bare hands is starting to loose its "sandstone" material and becomes just gray plastic cover. You can feel it that the middle of the cover and the sides of the cover becomes to feel like made by different material as the sandstone texture is lost on the sides and becomes softer to touch!

So should I open up an RMA for a back cover issue 'cuz it has been just 10 DAYS! Can't image how it will look like after 1 year of usage...

You can check the cover where it is started get loose its sandstoneness!

    Waiting your suggestions.

EDIT: The markings are done by me to point out where it has been started to peel of. The markings are not on the cover itself!

EDIT 2: Yeah, I ordered Diztronic Case a couple of days ago and it is on its way!

EDIT 3 : I just contacted to customer service and opened up a "ticket" for that. I am waiting for an answer now!

UPDATE! 18/09/2014 : After 32 days of initial contact, I have given out a free Sandstone back cover. I confirm the RMA form and they will send me the new cover !

UPDATE! 27/10/2014 : I still have not received my replacement back cover which is said to be sent out more than 1 months ago. I opened up a follow-up ticket about 11 days ago and since then they have not answered me back! RMA really sucks! I guess they are ignoring me :S

Agreed - I would think it would wear evenly.

I would think that OPO QC would be interested in that. I would make a claim, maybe they'll send you a new back

It's not considered a defect to OP. You can only return it for a refund. Everyone knows that the sandstone coating is utter garbage and most people use cases.

The marks are added on with a program or something like that, you can tell since the 'stains' differ from picture to picture.
