Bad audio quality on bluetooth headphones on OP7

I had a OP3 before but moved on to a OP7 in Dec 2019. Now I bought some good quality headphones from JBL (E65 BTNC) with ANC and BT (OP7 has no headphone jack anymore). I tested the headphones in the market and the sound quality was quite good! At home I unpacked the headphones and connected them to the OP7 and was really shocked of the bad sound! First I assumed my headphones were bad but then I connected them to my years older HTC One and also I tried it on my cheap Mediatek pad and the sound was brilliant, just from another world. How could that be? I already switched off Dolby Athmos but that did not help much. Also the sound volume is really low on the OP7 and there is no way to rise it. Anyone facing the same issues? Is there any solution from OP planned? I am really unsatisfied.

My wireless headphones sound pretty much exactly the same regardless of what device they're connected to, unless one of them is messing the equaliser or fudging the audio in some way.
