Most of the dark areas in these photos have little or no detail and there's very little HDR. Crazy that people are saying these are good.

Manual mode is superb. Getting a few bad shots from front cam, but I guess its to be expected?

camera works perfectly in low light. hence best camera phone in this budget

I like the camera, it's just whenever I'm trying to take a super close up picture of something it has a hard time focusing in on it, I didn't have that issue with the Nexus 6. this is even when I tap where to focus on. but I still love the phone.
