I bought it from Reliance digital.
    Bellary District. Karnataka state.

There's no service center here. I should travel Bangalore.

The term “black crush” usually refers to a certain condition where a display panel outputs inconsistent colors and severely pixelated blocks while rendering blacks on the screen. When it comes to the display of the ASUS ROG Phone 3, there are several reports about such anomalies regarding the color output on our own forums, the ASUS ZenTalk Community, and other online platforms.

I feel very bad now. I never expected I would get such a display. I used every other amoled phone and none of them had this issue.

Also those were cheaper than 8T.

Every single one of them produced perfect blacks

I just did. They requested for logs and I provided them like 5 days ago.

They say they r looking into the issue.

I also opened up a new case by attaching a video proof of how bad my display is.

Solid signal is a dedicated AV website reviewing screens. I would trust their definition a bit more in this case.

it's present on most of 120hz displays, i guess that's why apple isnt opting for them yet.
and i have been to service center those people told me that they will change it but they cant guarantee that the newer device wont have the issue or has less tint than the current one. They kept saying that it is the characteristic of new displays and all. I also contacted the Customer service via chat they gave me the same answer and said OTA will fix it but it didnt .

Why do they even make phones if they can't guarantee things.

That's not the way the should've responded.

What is the point of having an AMOLED display if it's not producing blacks

is this happening only while watching hdr content ?
Mine is showing this issue only in hdr playbacks and that too sometimes.
Say if I play a hdr video on youtube, it is showing grey or colored bars but when i close and replay the video then its pitch black as it should be.
Hence my guess is it to be a software issue
