After I received one of the Invites for the Bamboo swap cover I place the order on November 6th. The order was shipped on November 15th and delivered on November 17th. I them made the following video showing the installation of the Bamboo cover onto my OnePlus One.

Invite only from a giveaway a couple of weeks back. They only gave out around 500. They are all gone, so eBay may be your only option. Although I did see a rumor that they are thinking of releasing more. We'll see.

Nice review. Good to see another lefty in the wild.
I'll probably install mine on the workbench at the shop today.
I noticed you didn't bother using the suggested method with a 3.5 mm earbuds or step 7 about not using the pry toll near the sim tray side. Any problems?

I'm not sure I'd want to risk damaging my jack by using earbuds as a pry tool.Anyone else use that method described?

I took my cover off the other day using the same method that this guy did, after I had seen this video a while ago:

    https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...nd-replace-with-a-baby-skin-swapstyle.152383/

I used a guitar pick to help. No sweat. Obviously, take your time, and you should be good. Starting at the sim tray slot is the way to go I think. It is nice they included that tool.

They will if they are smart, there is more profit in the bamboo case than the OPO itself.

Arg. I would love it if OnePlus released more bamboo covers, but I doubt it. Was the production line not shut down due to inconsistencies?

So true. Accessories are where they will make their money. But, it isn't like they are lacking in other accessories, and it sounds like more are in development. I do hope they reconsider the styleswaps. The back covers really aren't that hard to remove as long as you do it right.
