You can't conclude after one day of use that your battery is draining.
It needs a couple of charging cycles to settle down.

Wait a couple of days and if it still drains, come back to the forum and use the search function with keyword battery.
There are loads of threads about this with tips and tricks that might help you.

7h in your phone in one day? That is just sad. There's a world past the screen dude...

Sonia, honestly. I would stop posting that guide. Those instructions are made to kill the smart part of smartphone... people will lose out on features and usability due to it. That guide should've never been posted.

plus it contains a lot, A LOT of misleading information.

    IE: Disable some screen gestures.

The kernel either keeps the touch panel alive or not depending if there's 1 or more gestures to be listened to or not.

Disabling 4 gestures out of 5 will not save ANY battery at all. While at the same time, some users, might disable features just thinking "well, not controlling my media from the screen is not that much of a loss, but i will keep the camera one"

see the point? it's filled with actual stupid concepts and misconceptions assumed by many people in the community that misguide people to understand how to properly manage power consumption at these extremes.

Furthermore, others can cause actual misbehaviour on apps or worse, at a system level.

this one, for example, can very well prevent the user to get notification of things that might be of importance to him. Missing on possible appointments with friends by whatsapp or completely forgetting about a meeting you had because you were not able to sync the calendar properly due to the extreme doze, therefore, no notifications came in.

This one will prevent users to log in into a new device and find most data from applications and configurations from being setup at start.

Results in lost contacts if phone needs to be formatted (which CS insists on doing almost every time there's an issue)

Also might prevent the user from backing up third party data, such as whatsapp cloud storages or Google Photos backups, which at the same time, will keep the user's phone filled with data that upon lost / stolen will be never recoverable. Not to mention worse implications.

Telling users to prevent automatic sync is probably, the worst advice one should give while talking about smartphones.

I could keep going on almost every single point, but just picked the most crucial ones to get my point across

Thanks but there is nothing really. You have charged your phone 3 times in 29 hours. I would have charged mine 4-5.
