    clearing cache does nothing on 7T.
    Besides, clearing cache if it's there, it'll only slow the phone down and drain battery.

    maybe for a little bit. But yes while in newer versions of Android they got rid of the cache partition, apps still store cache. Go through them one by one, or use for example googles file app on the play store.

    And again - slow down the phone by doing so, and only consuming more battery, plus, the cache partition that you can clear in recovery is useless, because there ain't none.

    Yeah I was just speaking in third person, as in someone is already having battery issues, why worry about a little extra drain if it could maybe fix the issues
