(This Screenshot is not mine because I just opened my phone and I don't have any battery details to provide for the meantime?

I update my phone to android 10 4 days ago and I am seeing a vast change of battery draining...it seems that Google play services, OnePlus launcher and whatsapp is using a significant amount of battery even though I'm not using it very much....I'm already regretting updating my phone to this version but the new features are remarkable.Hope oneis fixes this fast...until then any solutions or tips that I should follow guys ?

WhatsApp is notoriously battery-hungry and FB doesn't care to optimize it very well, I suggest getting rid of it unless you absolutely need it. As for the keyboard, this is by design.

Facing the same issue on mu Oneplus 6 running 10.0.1
Although the features introduced is amazing, I regret upgrading as the 🔋 drain is huge which does not even lasts for half a day.

For those having issues with 10.x
    1. Was this an OTA update?
    2. Did you use the Oxygen updater to update to 10?
If 1 is yes, get on the official OP support forums, not here.
If 2 is yes, then, well, it's your own fault.
It's why 10 has been SLOWLY rolled out...it still has issues!

Brother, I would suggest a complete reset of Phone(after backup) and connect to a high speed wifi update everything apps from Playstore and OnePlus Software Updates .
Wait for 7 days and then check with the battery usage of the phone.
Usually for first few days, everything tries to consume a lot of battery for new update and Android setup.

Post a review or message me if this helped after 7 days of setting up the phone again

I also experience a massive battery drain on my OP6 after updating to 10.0.1.
Usually battery life gets worse after updates, but normalizes after a few days. Seems like the System needs some time to calibrate battery again after an update.

But this time the Update is a week ago and battery is still draining extremely fast.

I have also drained the battery to 0 % several times and charged it overnight. This did not change anything.

I have cleared cache, but this did not change anything.
There is also no explicit app in battery stats that draws much battery life. It just seems everything uses way more power than before.

    Any solutions, yet?

If a particular app is doing that, optimize the app in Battery optimizer. Also clear the cache on the offending app. Also check if there is an updated version of that app available.

There's no app in particular that uses very much battery. please see attached screenshot. I really don't know what consumes all the power.
I even did not use my phone very much since last recharge.

Before the Update I could use my phone for about 24 hrs, now it's down to about 14 hrs.

Also, I activated battery optimization for all apps.

Check your SOT, mu SOT is 1 hour 13 mins, see screenshot below. Also click the 3 button option top right and show system apps, full device usage in the drop down, see if there is a culprit in there.
