Battery drain due to LTE

    For those who don't use lte bandwidth, switch to 3g/2g for a far better battery life.

    It seems that the phone automatically uses lte from the get go if your operator supports it.

    Yes it does switch to lte and yes lte eats battery..

    It eats much if the LTE of your operator is on Band40, due to bad coverage and frequent switching.. Not much issues in Band 3, afaik...

    So does that mean the battery drains faster if we are actually using LTE bandwidth? Also, how to know the band of a carrier?
