I've been having this issue since I updated to 33r. Anyone else out there with a similar issue?

my guess is that you have low signal issues, so your phone is trying to find and hold onto a signal which is causing the drain. Are you sure you encountered the problem after the update?

Hi there. Just a tip for you, I disabled double tap to wake and lock, disabled auto brightness, disabled keyboard vibration, disabled gps, disabled sync, disable 3G/4G/WIFI data when you don't need it and finally disable google play services. I know i handicapped the phone but all these features eat a lot of energy. The battery life is amazing now. If you can't disable all of them, then disable a few of them and tell me what is your result. Hope it helps. Cheers

I went ahead and disabled the double tap to wake and lock. I got good results but I think it still needs to be taken care of by cyanogenmod. Thanks for the reply by the way.

Happy to help. I know this because i was in the same situation when i updated to 33R. My battery life was bad. But i researched and found out how to get better life. Yes Cyanogenmod should fix these battery drain issues, hopefully in the next OTA. Fingers crossed
