I wiped the cache partition after installing the update and I have no issues (Battery, WiFi..etc).

I cleared the cache but from settings>storage and memory>cached data. Will that work? Or should I follow steps mentioned by you?

I was using my OP5 for two wks now and experience is remarkable. My battery life was more than 28hrs on my regular use for a full charge. But today I am noticing it gives 9hrs only. I restarted, did the catch wipe but still same. Pls advice what to do and why its changed all of a sudden like this. See below screenshot.

even after the 4.5.8 update the battery life did not improve. infact i kept a check on my standby slept for 7 hrs, wiped my cache, closed all wifi, 4g, location, recent apps yet when i got up and checked it dropped a 6% ! also since the 4.5.8 you do get EIS on 4k but can significantly notice the battery drains much faster (I'd suggest not to upgrade to the 5.8)

Before this Oxygen 4.5.8 update, my battery life was good. Ever since I got this update my battery life has become so worse and I have never seen my phone's charge below 20% since I bought this phone.

Why do you make new thread? You should be posting in the main thread of 4.5.8 update.

Clearing cache never fixed shit in my case.

I emailed bughunters and still waiting for a reply. 6% down in just ten minutes. Im getting angry and no ones telling me how to downgrade back to 4.5.6. Had ZERO issues with it, would get a day and a half of moderate usage. No bugs, no lag, no insane battery drain. I didn't buy this phone for the camera so I dont need the EIS in 4K, i need 4.5.6 back *******

Give it a few cycles before you come here. I have amazing battery life with new update.
and 100% to 96% doesn't say anything about battery drain, it is supposed to drain faster in the beginning. If you get like 6-7h SOT in the end, you are absolutely fine.

Nobody owes you anything, so stop whining about how nobody's "telling you anything".

If wiping cache didn't help, try the factory reset. This is an issue with your phone and your phone only, Oneplus or anybody else didn't mess up. Factory reset should fix whatever is creating the issue.

If it doesn't, head over to XDA, there are many tutorials on how to flash an older ROM version.
