Probably one of the installed Apps could be consuming more power. Pls check Settings > Device > Battery. Hope this helps!

boss searching threads wont help.. all u get the solutions like.

    1. restore factory setting.
    2. wipe cache n data.
    3. turning off wifi.. net.. Bluetooth.. almost everything smart abt a smart phone..
    4. bunch of silly procedures.. in the end u have to start from zero again.

hope next ota will have more solutions than issues...

Use ShutApp or clean master to find which app eats the battery.

I use security app that analyze battery usage of the application before I install.

That's correct, probably some application is running in the background and causing battery to drain.
    Try resetting phone,it may help.
    Don't forget to backup.
    Good Luck.

actually, upgrading from 3.2.8 (Android 6.0) to 4.0.x (Android 7.0) leaves to many traces of the old system in place, which causes a litany of problems, including bad battery performance.

the best solution is to do a backup and full wipe as part of the upgrade. here is the proof: I did a full wipe coming from 3.2.8 and wiped the cache for each upgrade after that. I've never had a single problem. here's my battery (screenshot taken last night)

Ok. I accept that, but never felt such kind of issue with Xiaomi or Samsung or Moto devices. dont have to hard reset / format the phone after OTA.

try going into Settings>Battery>Settings>Aggressive doze and app hibernation. Check on 'Enable aggressive doze and app hibernation'. try this and see if it works.

did you update those devices from Android 6.0 to 7.0? if not, it's not a fair comparison.
