Dear all , just my experience /.
OnePlus 5T in my case . Suddenly Battery is draining a lot comparing with last week .
I've found that WhatsApp is guilty of charge about it, and I reported the failure to the WhatsApp Team . The failure seems to be happen in Oneplus , Xiaomi , Samsung (some models) , Honor , etc.
Answer from the WhatsApp team follows :
Thanks for your message.

Because the failure appears in the .308 version of Whatsapp the possible workaround would be to get the previous version .291 and reinstall it , and avoid automatic updates (Google Play Store) of whatsapp team in the meantime .
If someone like to run some risks about the support and other stuff (because is a beta) you can download the version .327 to test it . I didnt for the moment .
In my case , (I emphasize , in my case) i defined Whatsapp to have battery optimization and this flag helps me to keep the battery in a reasonable level (but did not solve the problem) .
Hope it helps for users claiming for a solution .
PS . In the meantime I was writing this topic whatsapp was updated to version 330 in my Phone . Let's see what happen .
