Battery drain using Samsung Accessories via OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition

  1. robbertd97 , via OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition , Dec 24, 2019 :
    Hello guys,

I have been experiencing severe battery drain issues while using Samsung "Wearables". I see this is in issue with MANY OnePlus users on the Samsung Accessory Service app/plug-in in the Play Store.

Has someone succeeded to deal with this problem?
This has been going on since the start of November and seems to have to do with OnePlus and their Android 10 update.

At the moment my Samsung Gear S3 and Galaxy Buds are unusable since they drain my phone by almost 30% per day.

    Hopefully someone has answers.

OK I had the same problem on my 6T and I believe I've found a solution.
You'll need to deactivate the battery optimization on all the Galaxy Wear apps & plugins as it force closes them and makes them reboot all the time, creating the battery draining.

I've tried that for a couple of days now and it seems to have eradicated the phenomenon.
Let me now if it worked for you too!

But if we opt for don't optimise it clearly tells it will affect the battery performance. i doubt this will fix the issue but will try and update.
