Exactly. I will easily lose 1% of battery in 1 or 2 mins when the phone is in idle.

Yeah if I'm using the phone WiFi doesn't drain any battery abnormally.

Same problem here, from 4am to 8am battery drained 20% while I was asleep (charged to 100% at 4am) and the battery chart was projecting out of charge in 12 hours. Only items on the battery list we're Wifi 1% and Phone idle 1%. Got up, turned Wifi off and with mobile data and using the phone, charge is another 11% down and projecting 15 hours of battery left.
Whatever bug was introduced in the latest patch. I remember being impressed with battery going down only 5% when setting down my phone for the night first couple of days I had it.
Hopefully this will get fixed soon. Does OnePlus know about the problem ?

Riding this thread to indicate the same problem. WiFi is always at the top of the battery list with 10-20% drain per night.

Turning WiFi off during sleep isn't a solution as I need my app services running, and cell data isn't easy to come by

I can't understand why wifi consumes so much battery. It was supposed that newly chipsets are more optimized, right?

I've compared with my old nexus 5..
First is nexus, the second is OP5. So much better wifi consumption... Both with auto sync on. Screenshot_20170719-183936.png Screenshot_20170718-162031.png
