Subscribe to the beta testing of WhatsApp in play store.
I am always using the betas and they are good on my battery.

Have you been using any heavy apps that drain your battery? If so, then your battery usage seems just normal after 37 minutes of use and the 6h approximate time left is calculated based on that 37 minutes consumption, which means you are still getting about 7h of screen on time (perfectly normal) if you have been using your phone for 37 minutes. If it has just been laying unused on the table screen off, then there might be something wrong.

Your battery is normal if at all you are using your device. Just for observing 37 minutes it is not possible to judge the battery. It would be right to judge if you post an update when your battery reaches below 30% with detailed usage stats.

Hello, I think it is normal. Each first usage after full charge. Depending on what I actually do with the phone. Says let's say after 30 minutes of YouTube my battery drain to over 90% and says let's say maximum usage another 6-7 hours. But after I stop it changes to lets say remaining time 2 days. I think it counts your first usage and then settle down to whatever your putting on it. It looks bad but it actually is ok

Just look at screenshots. Over 42 hours of use 5 hours of SOT but after full charge and use I think Skyp for 30 min battery went from 100% to 93% but manage to last that long anyway. Head up

I am not entirely sure, but I think disabling ipv6 seems to be consuming more battery. I have turned it ON and let me see if there is a significant difference.

*UPDATE* : New Guide which is More Easier and Effective!

Step 1 : Go to settings - scroll down - click about phone - scroll down again - click build number 4 or 5 times until it says "You are now a developer"

Step 2 : Go back - In settings you can see a new option named as Developer Options - click and enable it. There are many things there...dont worry! Enable Doze Mode and Advanced reboot only. Dont do anything else!

Step 3 : Go to settings again - battery - look into the top right corner, you can see 3 dots - click it and select agressive doze and app hibernation.
It is enabled there. Disable it. (Its important that you disable this)

Step 4 : Go to settings - Storage and Memory - Storage - Click Cached Data - Press ok.

Step 5 : Go to settings - Apps - select Google Play Services among the list - click storage - manage space - clear data. After that dont press back or home key.

Step 6 : Press and hold the power button - select reboot - You can see three options now! that is - Reboot , Recovery , Bootloader. Press Recovery and your phone will automatically boot in recovery mode. ( No need to do tiresome press , hold and all ).

Step 7 : When in recovery mode - Select English - Wipe Data & Cache - click Wipe Cache option - Press ok - Then you get two options - Reboot , Done - Jst press Reboot and your phone will boot up normally.

Wait for sometime..min 2 mins after showing lockscreen. Jst dont do anything like unlocking it or anything.

    Enjoy!!

(Note : You may disable advanced boot in developer settings after following all steps. Bt dont disable Doze mode in developer settings jst below it.)

[PLS DONT WORRY PEOPLE THESE STEPS ARE COMPLETELY SAFE AND WONT AFFECT YOUR APPS OR DATA]

You will certainly experience a good change!
Pls share your experience in the comments section.
