I know this might be surprising to you, but as of now this is happening to most people who has updated to Android 10. In a future update, OnePlus will fix this issue and bring back the usual speed and battery life we are used to

However for now, here are some quick battery tips that will make a difference:
    - Make sure battery saver is on - Always keep battery saver on to help increase the overall battery life of your phone
    - Change screen resolution - If you have the option, go into settings, display and then change your screen resolution to the lowest possible (On my OnePlus 7 Pro it is FHD+ but i'm not sure about the OnePlus 6
    - Turn off Bluetooth, NFC, Location and more when not in use.
    - Try and keep apps close in the background
Advanced Tip: Set any apps not required to run in the background to optimize on the battery optimization mode (Search settings to find)

As of now, no one but OnePlus themselves knows. I have no idea myself, but everyday I am constantly checking for a new update, since any update just means we are one step closer to our old buttery smooth OS, mixed with the goodness of Android 10

    Ohh what... That's surprising

Don't upgrade to Android 10 then. If you are already experiencing battery life issue with Android 9, Android 10 will only make it worse. You might get about 3.5 Hours battery life after the update, which is not good AT ALL. Stick with Android 9 until a stable Android 10 build is released with good battery life and speed around the OS.

As of now there is nothing we, as users, can do until OnePlus releases a new update which will fix these bugs

TBH tho I can live with these bugs for now tho [e]1f602[/e]
