I'm on the latest os 4.0.1 and the battery was working fine but Thought of doing the calibration of the battery so I let it drain to 0% and then I charged it completely till 100% but after that now it's giving me very bad back up. It has drained 20% in just 30 mins. Plz help me out now

Did you do a factory reset after the install?

Also do a cache clear after installing all the apps.

    Cheers! :)

Everyone seems to be having the same issue. Uninstall Facebook and Facebook messenger. This drastically improves the problem but it doesn't fix it completely. We need an update ASAP.

uninstall FB, also Whatsapp - check how phone behaves, then if all is OK, install Whatsapp (I'm using it, doesn't give any problems), if all is OK, you can try FB again (but that is confirmed battery waster recently by many)

when you drained battery, some processes went to sleep. After charging, they all woke up (may be that also these which we don't know about), and apart from that, they may be doing all updates not possible while they were asleep. So by catching up they eat battery.

Use the phone as is, after a few charging cycles (normal), all should be OK (if there are no other issues we know not of)

Heat can kill your battery rapidly, which is also why it's not a good idea to charge 0-100%. Wait for it to cool down yes? Stay off WhatsApp for a while if you can. Let the phone stabilize. And then check battery stats :)
