Battery life by scaled down after 8.1 update on op5T. I was getting 6 hours of screen on time. Now it's reduced to 4-5 hours. Also noticed the charging time has gone up al little....
And common still no update on the cameras!!!!

Yup. I too am facing the same issue. Battery consumption has increased drastically. Biggest chunk coming from ANDROID SYSTEM.

Yup, after every update there is hole formed in battery from where the battery started draining and by creating redundant threads it got filled.

Clear the cache from recovery mode, it would help.
Atleast check the pinned thread before creating redundant threads

    just do these 2 things..

First: Go to setting->storage and memory (scroll down)-> cached data(click and clear the cache).

    and then
Second: Wipe the cache partition by following step.

    1. Turn the phone off(unplugg the charger if charging).
    2. Hold Power and Volume Down
    3. English (or pick any language that you want)
    4. Wipe data & cache
    5. Wipe cache
    6. Yes
    7. Reboot.

    1. Go to phone dialer app and dial *#800#
    2. Select the first option which says “oneplus Logkit”, delete history log
    3. Click “save log”
    4. Go to settings-battery, and take a screenshot of the battery consuming situation
    5. Enter oneplus Logkit, choose “other log info”, click “get top info”, “battery history” every several minutes and “get bugreport info” once
    6. Go back, choose save log again to stop it.
Finally, enter files>internal storage>oem_log, find the folder, zip it and send it to us along with the screenshot

If battery drains most under normal use, please capture the log when you use normally. If it drains under long time standby, please start it before you go to sleep and finish when you wake up.
It’s better to do it when battery is below 50%.

Thank you very much for your time
