What is the life span of the battery for OnePlus 6T? I mean after what duration I should consider changing the battery?

    Depending on your usage.
I would recommend at charge whenever you think you might need the juice.
My phone lasts for up to 2 days with medium usage

I‘m still suing my OnePlus One without problems. The battery still is great (not as good as at the start). But since anyone is changing there phones at least all 4Years you don‘t need to worry about changing the battery once.

Li-Po batteries are rated for a minimum on 400 cycles, after that you might see a decrease in battery capacity...

I think we can charge it whenever it's needed... only pay attention to not discharging it fully which I think is harmful for battery health...
I change phone every two years so i don't usually pay attention to the longer term health of battery...

    Depends on many things.
There's the load cycle: If you charge your phone to 100% and let it discharge to close to 0, it will age faster. Would be great if the hardware allowed to charge to 80% and let it drop to say, 30%. This would make the battery last longer.

There's temperature: if you keep your phone in high (above 38 deg C) or low (below zero), battery will degrade faster.

There's quality of the charger: if of bad quality, the charger will fluctuate the voltage and current, making the battery to defect earlier (and causes ghost touches too).

Some say that fast charging is also agressive on batteries. I rarely use, so I cannot say for sure.

Considering my high use! 14 average hours on screen, unoptimized apps, a few hours daily Bluetooth average, this is a replacement! (Prior one developed black screen)! Nearly a year old! 84% battery left! They say after 80% capacity drain lithium capacity quickly decreases, thereafter! I believe phone battery overrated, not really 3700 mAh, probably honestly 3600 mAh? 97-96%! 3600 - 20% 3600-720 like 2900? I'm nearly at 3100! 200 amp hours left until capacity is quick draining! (As my post reveals, 1½ circles daily! In about 60 days, by lithium battery would be considered end of life! (80% true capacity)! Lithium has 500 cycles, more if consistently brief charging to 70%, not using quick charge< and rarely killed! ( Or below 20%) lithium ion, not lithium polymer is commonly used in ev vehicles! Of course, understanding their charging, discharging limits! Hey, I'm a selfish dude! One 6t cheapest phone on market at time! Wells Fargo, and edu credit lines if cellphone bill paying, free insures phone, 50 deductible! OnePlus is a bargain! Until the OnePlus 8! When i upgrade, galaxy 20 plus has OnePlus beat! Unbox theory on YouTube, he's loyal to bad *** OnePlus, until galaxy s20! I'm waiting for black Friday sales, November to change!

I believe u are right! If those don't charge to 100%! Stop charge at 75-80% most vital! Ok to randomly charge to 100% if sleep, or next day needs!
Considering it took me a week to download, install accubattery, and OnePlus batteries usually near 94% capacity out of box! 450 confirmed cycles +4 daily for a week! Having 84% capacity now, I've used 10%! End of life is 80% but we can't go by accubattery, for OnePlus overrate batteries! (Common practicetpractice industry)! If using accubattery for cycles, health! Expect 1000 cycles, unless fully charged cycles! It's my hypothesis 1000 average cycles those who consistently plug phone in, not allowing phone to drop to 20%, unplugging before 75% should yield 1500 cycles
My phone is a mad workhorse, probably 5-6 50% worthc daily! Sometimes 100% so I get tired forget about it on charger! Once I use 3 cycles in a day!
So, my mad workhorse, should by all means last me another year? A year already past by! Noone I know use a phone as frequently! 2 years of heavy use expected! Majority use optimized apps, other radios off, one half cycle a day, expect 10 year life! (Common use)! Considering I use 3 cycles daily, expecting 2 years before end of life lithium! Unsure upgraded OnePlus phones, faster screen refresh, higher resolution, - the nano tech chip efficient improvement! Only screen ontime kills battery!

Suggest a good battery ? What are saying bro ?
If you aren't satisfied with the battery life then try a factory reset and update to 10.3.5
    See if it helps.
I'm getting around 7-8 hours of screen on time on 10.3.5
