Battery of OnePlus 5 is -22% HELP!

    hey! a few hours ago, my OP5 got under water. worked again but the battery is -22% and the camera is like this:

    Turn off the phone, remove the sim tray and place the phone in a bowl of uncooked rice or preferably cat litter if you have it, for at least 24 hours.

    If your phone dunked in water for a period of time, you are pretty much screwed and you will have to either get a new phone or try to send it in for tepair by calling there customer service.

    Putting it in rice might not due anything as you have already turned the device on.

    Dude switch off that phone, put it in a bag of uncooked rice, seal the bag for 2 days. Your phone will be good as new.

    whatever you do please refrain from charging the phone in such a state obviously something has gone wrong so I would recommend you stay on the safe side.

    it might not - once water goes in thats it - it will cause corrosion on the board and long term you will have weird issues
    also I do not really consider water going to the battery or any charging component to be safe even if it feels "good as new"
    this is unlikely to help even if he did have one nearby as they would probably charge him more in parts and labour than the phone itself is worth
