Set the Battery Optimization to "Not Optimize" for some apps and wait for about one day

This is happening to me as well. I have a OnePlus 3, running OxygenOS 5.0.1.
Apps which have their Battery Optimisation set to "Don't Optimise" get changed back to "Optimise". I mainly use "Don't Optmise" for email clients (Inbox, BlueMail), and when this happens, i no longer received notifications.
The setting seems to survive a reboot, and an app update. Unsure how this gets reset.

Similar issue here. OnePlus 5T on Open Beta 7. My app of problem is Inbox by Gmail. I think this issue may have something with the advanced optimization settings, so could you please tell me whether you turned on Advanced Optimization?

    Hi PSSF23

Yes, by default i believe advanced battery optimisation comes turned on on my OnePlus3, so all my apps have been set to Optimise. I manually set apps to Don't Optimise, to ensure notifications are displayed. And a few days ago, my "Don't Optimise" settings got cleared, so i had to re-apply them again.

Maybe until this is fixed, I could always disable advanced battery optimisations. I'm not sure how much extra battery life i gain. Normally at work I'm constantly charging my phone anyway.

I haven't had this problem for a while now. I have upgraded my OnePlus3 to Oxygen 5.0.3, so it may have been fixed in that build? (it wasn't mentioned in the change log)

Edit: i spoke too soon. i still have this problem :(

I tried turning off advanced battery optimization, but that didn't solve this problem. My settings were still resetted. So the problem should be about the system, maybe Android Oreo in general.

It's happening to me! It's awful, apps stop working entirely because of this issue. I'd rather turn off the optimization altogether than deal with going through a list of every app and find which ones decided to reset their options just to be able to use my phone without constant issues...
