Although the battery is great I too feel that a battery save mode (much like the one found in the m8) would be nice. I always find using auto-brightness on my oneplus means the screen is often too bright (I know you can change this in settings)

    I want it.
The reason for me is to control what apps can have access to use data. On my Sony Xperia Z3 compact when I turn on the stamina mode it allows me to chose which app have access to use data when the screen is off. This feature alone makes it worth it because I only enable a few apps to have access the data and block the rest.

I don't not want any apps in the background sending info out or my location (looking at you google play service)..

Yeah, this is built into the phone already. Just go into setting and then performance. You can also enable a quick toggle that lets you cycle between Power, Balanced, and Battery Saver mode.

Yes..it can happen in any unforseen situation and you are away from a power source for a long time then it is always good to have a power save function

The 1+1 gets excellent battery life, but for the situation where you can't charge overnight and really need to keep you phone alive for calls and text then a battery saving mode similar to the GS5 would be excellent.
