Yesterday, i called to OPO customer care center for the same problem.
They are saying "Recharge mobile battery at 7-8 hours continuous without use your phone".
Follow this at least 3 times.
The problem is that, battery cells is not fully charged after you charged it first time.

The battery is showing the correct percentage, well, atleast its trying to

Your battery is dead, try taking it out and see if it's swollen... That will make you sure

    Get a new battery...

I had the same problem. The phone shut down at ~14%.
    What solved it:
Charge the battery while the phone is powered off.
The charging process will take longer (~4 hours+; Android showed 100% after ~1,5 hours when charging powered on).

I had have same problem. The phone just turn off if battery<19% . I guess the battery stats is not optimized.
I rooted the phone so I can install battery calibration.

I will update my answer IF this solved the problem.

I can confirm that ressetting batteri stat is solving The sudenly turn off issuse if the charging is low. The method is requiring root though.

This issue has been reported numerous times in these forums (search and you will find). It appears that in most cases the battery percentage is simply indicated incorrectly. When you think your battery is at 100%, it is actually much lower, so you are not fully charging your battery. When the phone switches of at for example 35% it is actually at almost 0%. I had the same problem and what fixed it for me is simply charging the phone overnight, allowing a true 100% charge. From that point forward my battery behaved normally again. I now make it a point to charge my phone overnight at least once every week.

I also didn't see anyone suggest a factory reset. You should always do that before any RMA ticket. Most likely some, but not all, of the above problems is due to erradict app behavior or a dirty ROM install.
