I think you may be able to take litigation actions because of the burn. Have fun with the legal stuff if you care to do it

If you see in detail, the back cover now has the distinct lining where battery would be situated. Looks like battery temperature got real high which melted the back and the internal circuit

Doesn't the 1+1 use a LiPo battery? Think about all the laptops that have had batteries burn or explode. Lithium is dangerous, but I've seen older battery technologies have issues too.

No if its fried like that, most likely the internal components were damaged. I would try to contact OP and see about a warranty

Nope, got my phone last month, waiting for a VERY long time for it to be RMA'd. It has been 25 days since I started the RMA process to receive a replacement device.
    Let's see:
1 - Too large for a 5.5" display. It does, however, feel good in the hands.
2 - CM11S has a long way to go to be on the level with the big boys (Sony, Samsung, LG)
    3 - USB 2.0? Sheesh
    4 - No OIS.
5 - Yellow banding on the bottom. I've owned at least 20 different android phones and test 30+ for T-Mobile, none have had this.
6 - No expansion memory, though kudos for 64gb memory, more than most. Should be 128Gb though to truly be a Flagship killer if no expandable memory.
7 - Absolutely the WORST customer service in the history of cell phones. Yes, poor support is a ding against a product.
8 - EXTREMELY limited availability. What's the point of a flagship killer if you can't get it?

My point is, it is a $300 device but people are acting like it is a $600 device. It just isn't. Maybe the 1+2 will be? If they survive.

Hoping that you are fine man. You should get a replacement. Am sure that when you sent it back they will check the phone to make sure that everything was ok. It looks like an issue with the battery.
This is just to show that a defect in electronics can occur for any company,no matter the size of the company and the QA they have on their product line.
Hopefully the new one will be better and defect free!

I hope you get more than a replacement...like $50,000 lawsuit! Shame on them for selling this product if it hasn't been fully tested for safety! Gosh, makes me want to return my phone!

Sorry to hear about you leg and the phone, that is scary. I hope you heal up quickly. Even worse really that this happened after you reported an over heating issue. Hope you get a decent response.

Maybe the next thing that happens is the workers at the factory gets burned by the exploding battery. Then a lot of the workers will file lawsuits because in China many people don't make enough money to make a living. GG 1+1, "Never settle" "Flagship killer".

This has happened to iPhones and Samsungs before. Those must not have been "tested for safety" either I guess.
