    Sadly, that's not the first time smartphones blow up in somebody's pocket. Samsung had a similar situation w/ Galaxy S3 I believe in Brasil. It's weird, my 1+1 hardly ever gets hot.

    Battery failed or got damaged in some way and leaked to cause this, hope its not going to recur to anyone else

    It could be but, the phone ignited not wile charging, also, we all have user different chargers to charge different phones and never had this issue. I belive this could be a possibility, but there could be something else.

    OPO should RMA, do forensic and be clear as to what they found.
