like some people above already stated similarly: while I understand your frustrations, starting a business (specially in a cut throat branche like hardware) isn't as simple as you describe it.
The speed at which OnePlus developed and pushed the One to market is very impressive.
OnePlus is a start up and so doesn't have the resources (yet) of a company like Samsung or Apple. They need time to grow and develop.
If you want more phones etc that are available in your local electronics store or online retailer, buy a brand that has billions to spend and (hundreds of) thousands of employees. Even then you won't get perfect products. Besides you don't get to see a smaller company grow.
Just remember Samsung started out small and Microsoft started in a garage.
    Be patient.

They simply do not want to sell more phones at cost price hence the delay and shit invite system. With time the component price will fall and then they will sell more to earn big amount.

See the graph in my signature to understand it better.

didn't read the whole thing, but disagree from the start. It would be stupid to manufacture 1,000,000 phones, then "hope" people buy them. i.e. OnePlus started focusing on the 16gb version. If they had built a ton of those phones, guess how many they would have sold? Not that many since everyone wants the 64gb version. Plus, idle products sitting in a warehouse are vastly expensive. The invite system helps to accomplish 3 important things and probably several others.
    1. Promotes the product to help gauge buying interest. i.e. cut back on the 16gb version and build up on the 64gb version
    2. Helps get the word out, while building up production and working out logistics.
    3. Helps build confidence in the shareholders that the investment they made will actually generate a return.

    LOL.
    1. OPPO is invested by Mr. X, and so is OPO. The guys behind both companies are the same and this is a known fact.
    2. Asian market don't mean shit? LOL a market that is easily many times bigger than NA don't mean shit?

OPO can just do very very fine without even going international, have you ever heard of xiaomi?

Still indicates a lack of confidence though right? You are 100% correct on all points, I was just saying that if they really believed they were a flagship killer, they would act like it.

I thinks right, they need to deliver the phones currently ordered and stop the invite system. So they can prepair for release

So your saying that cheap plastic s5 is more high quality than this beast?

Well my Oneplus is good. Patience is the real issue here. I waited 3 months no complaint and it's worth it. People are always going to hate.

You're right, Xiaomi just passed Samsung and is massive in China. I was trying to say that I feel as though they are targeting the western audience with this phone. If they do well with that market, they have achieved their goal. After all, they weren't referring to Xiaomi when they were talking about a flagship killer/

I would say they are trying to, but as with any new company, (unless you hire some big dogs) your going to struggle for a while until you get your processes in order.

where does confidence come in? when you start working out at the gym . Do you buy a 3 year supply of protein shakes on day one? if the answer is no, in your book that means you're not confident. In my book you think logically and want to build bit by bit. OnePlus simply can't take a risk that big. It would be plain stupid. This is not a casino game but an attempt at building a healthy company with growth potential.

how is that any indication of lack of confidence?? do you know how many smartphones at this price point exist in China? Xiaomi Mi4, Huawei Honor6, Nubia Z7 Max among many more are all starting at 1999 RMB and they offer the same spec if not better than Oneplus One.

Sure this phone is a big deal overseas because it doesn't have many competition at this price level, but in China it is nothing more than a smartphone selling at 1999.

they don't lack confidence, they simply don't have any.
