That would be you - seriously, don't download questionable apps, don't visit questionable website's, don't click random popups, etc...

I think Avast is a good option, it has a high virus detection rate but Android is pretty secure so i would recommend not to install any antivirus software.

I have had 14 different Android phones in the last 7 years all the way back to the Galaxy S2 and have never once had an issue with a virus or malware.

You are the best defense. Leave the unknown sources option turned off unless you're installing something intentionally that you know to be safe. Likewise don't go around looking for random APKs from sites you don't know and trust.

If you really feel the need to install protection, any of the big names should be fine - but I wouldn't give up any system resources for antivirus or any "cleaner" garbage.

Security Patches are enough for Any Issue .
And Keep Unknown Source installation off (Only use unknown source if you are sure it is safe)
If you copy anything in your device from PC Don't open it in PC It might Corrupt your device internal storage if anything goes wrong.(You can open it in Your Device)

And Don't Use Apps which are full of Adds ( Like UC Browser.........
    ..)

Reset your Device once in Six Months and set it as new to Experience fast response.

I use Eset mobile security because of wide thief protection options, and i checked it's battery usage. it was 0% and were active 11h 33m. so i won't say they're all battery drain apps...
